3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
33cl bottle. Filtered and golden with big white head. Nose : Sweet bread aroma, fruits like peach and banana, pear. Candy. Sip : low carbonation, medium body with oily texture. Sweet like hell with warming alcohol feeling. Creamy while swallowing. Aromatic hops are melted perfectly into this sweet brew. Honey and flowers. Overall it’s too sweet for me but I understand why it would be exciting.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
33 cl bottle, bottled / ’bbe’ ? Golden body with just a light veil. Yeast particles and a big white froth not holding particularly well. Fruty aroma, apples, or maybe pears, with somme odd synthetic, even metallic notes. Dry taste with the same fruity component(s) from the aroma and a somewhat harsh bitterness thereafter. Carbonation very noticeable on the palate, alcohol somewhat less. Well, similar to Duvel in every aspect. What is this, an attempt to brew the Moortgat classic on the Achouffe premises...?
