A nice fresh natural pale lager, one of the more "crafted" of craft pale lagers I've come across. Pours a nice golden yellow color, some white head. Aroma of pale malt, lemon, some noble hops, sweet grain. Pale malty flavor with some slight grassy hoppiness, an interesting floral citrusy accent unusual for a lager. Lighter bodied, finishes with a slight bitterness. Perhaps a slight yeasty accent from the fermentation in the bottle. La Virgen supplies quality beers at a reasonable price point, a nice casual craft lager.

Golden colour, a decent but not exciting lager, with some maltiness and slighlty sweet.

No good

On-tap. Shaker glass. Golden color, chill haze. White, close & lasting crown. Hints of tropical fruit, resins & slight floral aroma to the nose. Malty, grainy & crispy upfront, slight sweet ripe fruit touch blowed up by clean bitterness. Light body. Quite high carbonation. Texture is dense. Bitterness lingers into a dry finish rounded by sweet hues on the aftertaste.

33cl bottle from Cervezorama 2.0 in Madrid. Pours a hazed, deeper golden colored body with a finger-width, creamy and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is bready, lightly sweetened pale malts with some floral fruits, a light grass, some DMS, and a slight apple note. Flavor is better. Lightly sweetened, bready pale malts with a light floral fruitiness, some grass, and a bit of an apple note. Finishes clean and lightly bitter before leaving a fairly lengthy aftertaste. Light body and a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a decent beer. No DMS on the flavor and pretty easy drinking. Not bad.
