CapFlu (3292), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Jul 17, 2006 (Growler) Courtesy of Goldorak. Pours an off-white head with a red-amber body. Initial nose of anacette (black licorice) then melded into a mild "café au lait" as noticed by Mélanie. Biting hops mix with a mellow, almost appley malt flavour. Good. Apearance:hazy amber, light head...

Ungstrup (11136), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 24, 2005 A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is quite hoppy and somewhat malty. The flavor is sweet with notes of toffee and caramel, and rather hoppy, which gives it a dry slightly bitter end. The mouthfeel is slightly sticky. Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jul 15, 2005 Bright amber colour. Sweet brown sugar and caramel aroma with very restrained fruit. Kind of dry. Toasty flavour over top of a sticky sweetness. Not particularly cohesive, which is a must for a bitter.
