Sweet, malty, fruity, honeyish, orangey and slightly phenolic flavo with hint of sharp alcohol. Tart white currant in the finish. Tasty with interesting flavor combination.

Jul 7, 2009 Bottled at PBF as (Grincheuse Saison Rousse, 8%). Clear golden, small head.Medium sweet with above medium body, rounded spritzy mouthfeel. A touch of minerals and canteloupe, alcohol alsoplays a part. Elegant and interesting.

Jul 6, 2009 Bottled as "Grincheuse Saison Rousse". Golden golour, small white head. Aroma is earth, some hops, fruits and mild notes of yeast. Flavour is yeast, fruits and some spices, alcohol and zest. Balanced and quite nice.

Jul 3, 2009 (Bottled, 0.75l, labeled "Saison Rousse") Hazy golden with a small, lasting and lightly lacy head. Pleasant, earthy aroma of orange-peel and peaches. Fresh, pale-malty, lightly earthy flavor with orange fruitiness and some honey. Medium body, lowish carbonation. A tasty and pleasant saison with somewhat more sweetness and malt than average Belgians.

Orange-yellow color, small white head. Orange peels, grains, dry nose. Fruity, orange-mango flavor, spicey finish. Not so sweet than American saison, closer to "real" Belgian ales.

Appearance: deep murky , cloudy amber look , light carbonation with medium light white head. 3+
Nose: Soft nose of mashed wheat accented with orange peel and grapefruit. Light leafy top. Solid pleasant, good blend. Some alcohol at finish.7+
Flavor/Palate : Lighter, softer bodied ale. Amber, wheat like character with light leafy bitterness that was well paired with its dry alcohol Very nice offering. F-7+ 14+/20

Jun 30, 2009 Aroma of exotic fruit, and hum bugs, opaque orange, pours a tiny off-white head. Taste is bold malt with a fairly spicy kick to back this up. Medium bodied, sour/tart dry and refreshing. Great stuff! Thanks to the Finish crew for passing this along to Radek Kliber. Thanks also Radek.

Dec 24, 2008 Verre de 12 oz, à la brasserie de Jonquière. Arômes terreux et de cuir de Brettanomycètes, des notes d orange et de blé sont également présentes. Robe orangée et trouble, légère mousse. Moyennement ronde en bouche, la levure saison et une touche de levure sauvage crée une bière très désaltérante et moyennement acide. Des notes orangées et le blé sont aussi remarquées et l alcool crée un côté légèrement réchauffant en arrière-goût. Une surprenante et excellente saison funky de la Voie Maltée.
