A hazy orange beer with a collapsing beige head. The aroma is lightly sweet with fruity notes - especially oranges coming thru. The flavor is sweet, with some slight off-notes of diacethyl, but also some right notes of oranges, and with a dry bitter end.

Rastacouere (6136) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 28, 2005
Very hazy pale amber. Great foamy white head, meringue reminiscent. Orangey nose, hay-like with a cerealic maltiness that is quickly overtaken by a tartish grassiness. The hops feel tart which annoys me a bit, but the palate is tasty, herbal, floral. Light-medium body, high crisp carbonation.

Grapefruit-orange-citrus hops in the nose with underlying caramel and biscuity malts. Hazy orange-copper with fair white head that recedes to partial cover and ring. Biscuity malts are joined by tart and tangy orange hop flavour and moderate finishing bitterness. Medium-light body with decent carbonation. While this won’t impress a west-coast hop head, it is a well made British interpretation of the style. Sampled at the brewpub with Oakes, Rastacouere and Ungstrup.

Hazy amber colour. Sweet, brown sugary aroma. Rather sweet flavour, too. Lots of brown sugar stickiness and a hint of caramel. No idea what they’re aiming for but the end product is neither balanced nor focused.

Only refered to as a "Cuivrée Anglaise" (Copper colored English Beer), I’m pretty sure this Beer was their interpretation of an English IPA. The brewer wasn’t there when I sampled this one.

Caramilk bar brown, with a ring of creamy lace. Sweet Goldings aroma, with flowers and some pine trees. Sweet biscuit malt, astringent hop bitterness but lacks any real punch, mid to high carbonation. Not bad, but certainly not their best seasonal offering.
