On tap at the brewpub
St-Do is the nickname for the street where the brewpub is, known for all the bars and a general party atmosphere, so why use this name for their all bio Beer is beyond me.
Slightly opaque, almost greenish blonde with tiny bubbles rising from the bottom of the pint to the thin head on top.
Green apple like a cider, quite fruity with a strange smell that I could only associate with Flinstones chewable vitamins.
Hops come out a little harsh and throw the balance way off on this one, and it sticks to the aftertaste with a very vegetal flavor and it got pretty annoying. Body was way too light as well. Tasted like a botched batch of homebrew.
I’ve tasted good bio Beers before, this one was just sub-par. I don’t think it’s the brewer who is to blame for this, it’s probably his supply of grain or hops that makes me want to say hurray for pesticides.
