2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 obxdude10 (1811) - Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 24, 2011
This beer actually wasn’t all that bad. I was kind of surprised when I took my first sip that this beer tasted pretty decent (coming from a huge brewery that usually mass-produces swill). The beer poured a bright light golden color with a very huge white head. The head left some nice lacing around the glass. The aroma was mostly straw, light malt and a bit of grassy hops. The flavors were pretty much the same, with notes of light and grassy hops, a bit of toasted malt and some hay/straw. The finish was a lot fuller than their other offerings.

355 ml can from TBS. Can this really be this decent? Or is it the halo effect from enjoying on the dock in Muskoka?? Pours pale golden in colour, decent white head. Aroma and taste are only a hint of adjunct, hint of biscuity malt, and some actual hints of hop. Hmmmm...

341ml bottle. Newly available again in NB. Excels at being average. Medium body, maltiness and bitterness. It is almost a perfect example of a macro ale, with all the good and bad that entails. Rather enjoyable in a blue-collar, low-expectations kind of way.
1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 pushkinwow (739) - Ontario, CANADA - FEB 14, 2011
341ml bottle. Pours a pale clear yellow with a finger of head, very carbonated. Little to no aroma, almost clinical actually. Not much to the taste either - best that can be said is it isn’t offensive - seems to be this was a preferred macro back in the day but maybe that just shows a) how bad macros can be and b) that if I am drinking 50 I am usually too far gone to care.
1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20 Cole (887) - , Alberta, CANADA - FEB 5, 2011
Pours pale yellowwith almost no head. Dull salty aroma. Clean, crisp light, slightly hopped. Not bad. But basically a standard Canadian palelager. Drinkable but boring.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 czar (1053) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 23, 2011
pours clear golden-pale-copper with an ok-head. biscuity, grainy, a hint of caramel malts, fruity with a subtle floral hop bouquet that disappears in the finish to the profit of relatively sharp hops. dry. strong carbonation. one of the best commercial beer i’ve had. high drinkability and would dring again watching a hockey game with my buddies.

Boring yellow body with barely any head. No aroma. Flavour is rice and corn with a cardboard finish. How does this even come close to being an "ale"?
