Épaisse mousse neigeuse assez tenace ; couleur dorée assez franche, mi-mince, échappement de bulles régulier. En nez, houblon, sucre, mais aussi savon à vaisselle. Petite amertume de houblon. Rappelle les old ales des années 40. Plutôt aqueuse, mais on décèle quand même du sucre et quelques céréales. Pas mauvaise, et même presque audacieuse pour une commerciale, mais si elle marque des points sur sa saveur et son originalité relative, cela ne l’empêche pas d’être assez quelconque en général, et pas exactement invitante en nez. Correcte.

On tap at a bowling alley. I probably haven’t had this beer in more than 20 years. Was pleasantly surprised, especially when it was cold from tap. Had some fruity notes and maybe a very light hint of grassy hops. Nothing great, but if it always tastes like this I think it would be my go-to macro when choices are limited.

This needs to become more prevalent. A nice alternative to Blue, and it does have some tastes that will surprise you considering its made by Labatt.

This ale poured a crystal clear, light yellow colour with a decent, bright white head. Scents include corn, bread and hay. First sip was as thin as gasoline. No body at all. Flavours weak of light grain and hop. Very light bitterness to the finish. Drinkable but common corporate slop.

Once seen as a more intense product, this beer is straw and grassy and has a bit of a linger bitterness despite being thin in body. Quite clear and pale yellowy crystaline to the eye. Not one you can drink a lot of easily.
