Cabin fridge rate. Pours a clear straw yellow body with a nice one finger fizzy white head that actually left a bit of lacing. The nose is pretty typical, just a light note of corn and a slight hay like quality. Not offensive at all, just boring. The flavor is much the same way, light corn, just a touch of light hop extract on the finish, fairly clean really. There’s a slight sweetness throughout, but not so much that it gets in the way Light bodied and fizzy with a short crisp finish. This isn’t bad among the general Macro Light category.

Bottle. Pours a perfectly clear light gold with effectively no head. Nose is slightly sweet with a tad bit of skunky in there. Taste is light and slightly sweet but with very little flavor. Canada’s Bud Light.

Can at in-laws’ over Christmas. Crisp and cold. Mild flavor is not completely terrible. I would not want to try this at a temperature above 38.

Can at Mom’s on Thanksgiving. Clear yellow pour with a huge white head. Aroma of malt and lager yeast. Malty and watery flavor with lager yeast before a crisp finish.

341mL found in a gas station in PA. Pours a clear straw. Fizzy white foam has no retention and no formation. Nose is urine, stale vegetables, plastic gummies, vinegar. Wow that is gross. Taste is hydrogen peroxide, paper, old peach seltzer water. Palate is clean but very bland.

Nothing special about the light version, just a bit more water. I try to avoid light beers now that I dont look to get waste every night like in college. Flavor leaves with the calories.

Bottle. Wow, really weak in everything: aroma, appearance, and flavor. The only positive is that it’s weak and you can drink a lot of it after a hockey game. However, if it’s in the same cooler, Lite by Miller blows it away in aroma and flavor, and it’s just as weak/drinkable after a game.

UPDATED: NOV 11, 2012 Probably as good as any of the cheap, high volume light beers. Chill it to the point of freezing and it is ok.
