I am rating this as a light beer. It is one of the best that I have had. Next to Amstel it is probably my favorite, and well priced to. It tastes just like the regular labatt.

Not too much of a difference in flavor as it’s big brother, Labatt Blue. One of the best macrobrews around. Being as accessible as it is, it’s one of my most popular beers while going out.

Good for when you want the taste but not the kick.

My favorite American style lager. Thin with just a touch of maltiness. Lightly hopped and eminently thirst-quenchable. My beer of choice for most outdoor activities and for session drinking.

A very nice beer with a more bitter taste than your average North American brew. Nevertheless a very smooth drinkable beer reminiscent of some Scandinavian beers I’ve had in the past.

Labatt Blue is a Buffalo favorite. If you were to walk into any bar in Buffalo your sure to find Labatt Blue or Blue Light on tap or in bottles. Labatt Blue Light pours a pale yellow color with a big foamy white head. It has good carbonation and clarity. The aroma and flavor is similar to regular Labatt Blue but lighter. The aroma has rice cereal malts and grassy straw like hops in the nose. The flavor has light sweet cereal malts up front that turn dry with a crisp citrusy bitter finish. “Blue Light” is light bodied, thin and a highly drinkable Canadian pilsner. It’s a great beer for watching hockey [GO SABRES] and calories. It also pairs well with a traditional Buffalo style fish fry.

Easy drinking light beer. Taste like a lighter Blue. Not great, but probably top dog in the light market.
