Aroma: detergent lime soap like. Fresh as detergent, true? I think not.2+
Appearance: pale golden with visible carbonation. Light white fizzy top. 2-
Palate / Taste: Thin bodied. Soapy water with bitter foamy feel. Like a shampoo that goes in your mouth while showering. Pretty bad even for my open standards. Avoid unless you must rate one.

[4317-20120309] 341mL bottle. Evergreen urinal puck cakes and sweet tart aroma mix. Clear, pale yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Lime- and pee-soaked cardboard flavour has a lingering light tree needle note. Light body. Mmmmmmemorable. (1/2+/3/2/6) 1.4
Overheard: "A glass of water with a lick-a-stick thrown in."

Bottle [341ml] shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, jerc & mabel -- c/o GregClow. March 9. Pours a clear pale gold with a spare diminishing white head. Aroma is light and sugary along with artificial lime -- like a crap Shandy. Watery flavour of artificial lime -- very light and almost flavourless. Light bodied. It’s so bland and light, why even drink it? Whatever.

2012-03-09. Crisp pale yellow, small white head. Odd aroma, light lime, sweeter candyish lime notes, pale grainy malts underneath. Hints at ginger/ginger ale or am I imagining those? Similar flavour, mild lime, sweet-tart lime character, very light bitterness. Average to light bodied palate. The most favourable comparison would be to store brand lemon-lime soda, but the odd character gets worse as you drink more/it warms up. Poor. Bottle shared by GregClow

bottle. Poured clear gold with an initially large bleach white head that unfortunately flattens out to a skim of a head. The aroma of lime scented soap. Palate in thin and carbonated. An easy drinking bland beer with artificial lime flavour. No finish. Not as good as other lime brews offered out there, don’t think this one will last.

Bouteille 341ml.

Celebrating Labatt’s 60th anniversary, this one and Labatt 55 are created. Only found in Quebec, and in 12-pack for now, I was glad that Métro had a special on these. I decided to try it and knew what to expect. Kind of late to jump on the light lime lager bandwagon. Pours a light yellow colour with a frothy white head that has decent retention and tons of cloudy lace. Big lime nose which overpowers everything else (which we all know, is not much usually - so this a plus). The lime is not so much apparent in the taste, but the mild Blue Light is a bit more (as much as it can be) with the corn aftertaste. Overall, this one accomplishes what it was made to do. Refreshing, thirst-quenching, light and easy-drinking. Pretty close to the Miller Chill.
