1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 Sammy (5888) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 9, 2008
Somewhat malty aroma. Straw colour with some fizzy white head. Taste is minimal grain, thin mouthfeel and dry. Not the worst macro. Can drink a little bit.

Pours a crystal clear yellow color with a big fluffy white head. Smell is a little corny with hints at some grassy hops and the faintest little bit of toasted malt. Flavor is mostly sort of grassy bitter hops and some watered down malts. Carbonation is pretty nice, medium to high range, and it is a bit watery. It’s no Jockey Club, but it’s a solid session beer.

This one poured a crystal clear yellow with a non existant head. To the nose it smelt like corn and mud. First taste was watery and slightly wine flavoured leaving that old boring corn behind. Typical Labbatt product. Garbage.

Had this in St. Johns. Very clear watery color. This tasted like coors light without enough cold and a little extra funk.

[355 mL can brought back to Chicago by a co-worker who was home visiting family in Newfoundland]: Clear yellow with a frothy white head. Grainy aroma - corn, wheat and bran...watery palate - honey and sour malted fruit flavours. Not much to say - hay and straw color, tastes similar with a hint of alcohol in the finish...fair at best.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 LadyCooper (100) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - MAR 13, 2007
Bottle in St. John’s. Pale yellow with a fizzy white head. Aroma of hops, grain and corn. Grainy flavour with a bit of sweetness. Standard domestic pale lager, although for it’s type, it isn’t terrible.

12oz bottle via trade with BeerMountie! - Thanks Tony! - Pours pale golden with a fair white head that stays well and laces some. Aromas of light hops, grain, and maybe a touch of corn. Flavor is grainy, watered down, some metallic flavor as well. Didn’t seem much different than any of the U.S. Macros to me. Not very good at all
