mmmmm... I swear this is only good out of the bottle. Considering the fact that it’s found almost nowhere in a city of one million people is a testament to the advertising power of Molson Canadian. Yellow gold, lots of bubbles, almost no head that lasts. Smells. The taste is pretty decent but that might just be cause I’m so used to it. Malty, maybe corn, grains all dominate. The hops are sort of there and come across as a short lived bitterness on the finish. Gas Monster! Screw every other form of drinking this - take it cold from the bottle and enjoy.

On tap at a minor league baseball game. Little or no head. Refreshing taste, but similar to standard American brews. Little flavor.

Well what can I say? It’s canadas version of an american macro lager. It’s yellow outta the bottle. A nice head after an aggressive pour. It smells slightly sweet. The taste is very light and basic. It’s hard to review a beer that tastes like every other macro out there. Not offensive on the tongue. I moderate bite which I expected. I guess I could drink this but I would never buy it myself.

UPDATED: JUL 26, 2009 Pours a light yellow gold with a pure white head, dissapating quickly but leaving a light lacing. Nose is mild grain with a hint of citrus. Mouthfeel is creamy for a mass produced beer. Very light taste. Finish is mild. A decent beer but fairly light for the style. Pairs well with light summer picnic foods.

Bottle. Dark golden beer with a lightly hopped aroma, and a bitter, dry and watery hopped flavour. Overall an average lager.

Can. I have had this beer several times over the years, but this is really the first time I have had it since I have discovered real beer. Pours a nice golden with a thick white head. Aroma is malts and corn with a slight hint of hops. On the palate it is crisp and refreshing, but no body what so ever. Almost like drinking sparkling water. I don’t know why I use to think this is a good beer, but I can tell you now, it is not.

12 oz bottle. Woo hoo! Another pale lager! Why hell do I do this to myself? Well, anyway, here we go. Pours a pale gold with a very foamy white head. Grainy, euro lager notes, some cardboard and wet old sock too. Lovely nose. Medium carbonation with a light, dry mouthfeel. Very light palate (i.e. it’s tasteless). A little perfume/floral note, a little grainy sweetness, and a mild bitter background. Short, dry finish. Not the most offensive of the style but not much flavor either.
