Some malt character. Mostly water. Piss color with a white head. There are better options.

Light yellow pour with a white head. Light flavor of pale malts and corn. Better than a lot of similar beers. Maybe a little more malts in this one. Light.

Can 355ml. @ [ Chris O’s pre NYE Tasting ].
[ Courtesy of Magicdave6 ]. Clear light to medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, grain, toasted, vegetable, cardboard. Flavor is light to moderate sweet with a average to short duration. Body is light, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. Pours a pale gold with a thick head. Taste is of a refreshing pilsner. Decent beer when selection is poor.

Bottle at Old Chicago. Pours a clear yellow with a one finger white head that faded into a soap scum topper almost instantly. The nose is malt and grain. The taste is grassy hops, light sweet malt and faint bitter hops on the finish. Lighter bodied. Better than I thought it would be – it’s sans the skunkiness I associate with most Canadian lagers.

Transparent yellow straw color. Ordinary look for a pale lager. Thin head that eventually settles out. There is less of a corn flavor in this, and it is a bit more smooth than the other pale lagers, but still not a very good pale lager. Just a cheap beer.

I’m down with a couple other raters...why no love for Canadian beers? It’s decent, good as any U.S. macro. Actually maybe even a little better. No outstanding qualities but no disappointing ones either. Peace!
