Draught at Heathrow airport lounge Blond color. It tastes like a juice of straws, no aroma (besides some stinking stuff), too bitter, dry finish. Very bad.

Looks like a pale lager. A bit of honey flavor and a fizzy feel. Life is too short to drink this kind of beer.

This is a good pilsener. Not too strong, not too weak. It’s a very good beer for how simple it is.

Labatt Blue is a very clear, very pale straw colored lager with a thin white head. The aroma is of cardboard and fusel oil. There may be a dusting of grassy hops in the nose. Very light bodied and watery in the mouth. It’s like water except that water isn’t a touch gritty. It tastes like chemicals. I would not identify this as beer in a blind taste test. Holy crap! This is worse than I expected it to be! There is a touch of sweetness at the end... then that poison flavor lingers. Did I get a bad bottle? This is intolerable!

24oz tall boy. Better than most American macros, this brew maintains it’s refreshing flavor throughout.

On tap in Quebec City. MUCH superior to the bottled version available in the U.S. Crisp, with refreshing flavor, typical of a solid pale lager served as an icy cold thirst quencher. (Admittedly, the favorable impression may have been enhanced by the charming Q.C. ambience and the hot summer day.)

Bottle. Another boring pale lager. Can’t really expect much, which is good sine you probably won’t be overly disappointed. Aroma is mostly rice I think. Flavor is grainy and kind of sweet, but it a weird way. Very thin, watery body.
