Let’s face it- canadols do not know how to make beers. All the widely available brands taste like piss. This one is not exception. You want real beer go to Europe buddy.

Pale gold, with a very thin head. No lace. Lacks any real character, but I guess that’s typical of this style. It will quench your thirst, but don’t look for anything more than that.

Just another label for Canadian. Aroma a skanky off-malt, light. Pour of piss clear. Flavor is a biting sour malt and sweetness edged in malt vinegar and decaying newspaper. Another undrinkable swill.

Bottle at Roadside Cafe, LAX Airport. A so-so lager with strong hoppy taste, Pretty watery and plain.

UPDATED: MAR 2, 2010 I remember when Labatt Blue was actually decent.. ah, the good old days. I still would take it over Molson Canadian or Budweiser, but it’s certainly not something I buy when at the beer store.. No need to describe it any more. We’ve all had it..

UPDATED: NOV 16, 2006 bottle, light gold pour with some bubbles, faint malt smell with a little corn, not as much there as the Labatt 50, smooth macro beer

I don’t quite remember it all that well. It was a pretty bad macro, but better than Canadian. Smell was a little skunky, and tasted off, but tolerable. Would not drink again.

UPDATED: MAR 17, 2009 Tap. Pour I had seemed very fresh. Nice clear yellow color, decent head. Taste is clean and refreshing. Not a serious beer, but a step above the normal macro.
