Ordered it for the rating and was pleasantly surprised. Definitely not good, but much better than I recalled. Fizzy yellow water with no aroma or head of note. Flavour is a bit malty with just enough bitterness to remind you that it's beer.

Bottle. Pours a pale straw body. White rocky diminishing head. Lots of skunk, and mild bitter grassy hops. Eh.

Kinda sweet, easy to drink, nothing too flavorful unless you’re fond of american standard.

Radek Kliber (5308) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - AUG 24, 2002
UPDATED: OCT 19, 2007 Bottle 341 ml
Appearance :Clear , golden lager with plenty of carbonation shown , initial medium white top quickly reduced to small creamy layer
Nose :Grainy with sweet malty nose , hint of metallic hops.4-
Flavour/Palate :Medium thin bodied with plenty of CO2. Soapy thin, carbo harshness in finish. Late off sweetness. Upper drying alcohol found. Thin with out any refreshing qualities found. With time unpleasant raw like alcohol let you know its presence. Poor brew even in macro brew scale.

Cornfield (5277) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - SEP 14, 2004
UPDATED: APR 10, 2007 One of the best macro pale lagers. Labatt calls it a pils, and it’s almost there. Tasty without being too flavorful... if that makes sense. A nice clean palate and a crisp finish. It’s a good one to do if you plan on drinking all night long.

11.5 oz bottle from a grocery store whose identity is totally irrelevant. Pale yellow pour with a one finger that disappears quickly. Very grassy aroma with some corny sweetness. Taste is grain, corn, very, very subtle hop bitterness. A sentimental favorite, but not really that good.

Ernest (5187) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JAN 28, 2003
UPDATED: OCT 7, 2007 Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (cereal, grain), trace hops (flowers), with notes of soap and DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Not much to say.

Used to be my beer of choice (at age 20) since it was an "import". Smooth and goes down easy. I think this is my favorite macro - good to drink at a hockey game or ice fishing but since I’ve grown up, I avoid it.
