2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
This is still one of my favorite staple beers to have around being my friends and I grew up on this. It is a basic clear yellow with a small white head. This has a taste that never changes and will be a refreshing hops and a little bit of wheat added to water flavor. It is a good mass produced beer. I like it best from a can poured into a glass or stein like all beers, I treat this one like all the rest.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 2/20
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma- Has a faint corn smell, not much of a beer aroma.
Appearance- A god awful faint yellow with a very small white head.
Taste- uhhmm, horrible is a good word for this beer. barely resembles a beer flavor.
Palate- When the palate category is the highest rated on a beer that should say enough. I can choke it down and it stays down.
Overall- I havenít had Labatt Blue in 25 years and i remember it being more shall we say drinkable. I donít know if my taste buds changed or if they tinkered with the recipe but this is terrible.

0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
This stuff is probably made out of bourbon barrel aged puke. This beer is awful.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Definitely my favorite commercial beer! all you haters talking like snobs, drink some craft beer if youíre going to try be a smug wannabe forum critic. its mass produced and shipped what do you expect? being from Portland OR with more craft breweries per capita than anywhere in the world i can still appreciate a delicious cheap lager.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 2/20
No real aroma to speak of. Not much flavor besides a corn sweetness. No fruit to this nose. More pale lager hell.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Tasted blind. Some real subtle sweet malts in there, some caramel/toffee is present. Not offensive, not great. Not too much depth or complexity at all. Pilsner qualities for sure.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
UPDATED: DEC 18, 2014 Carbonated, and it gets the alcohol into the bloodstream. Flavor, such as it is, takes me back to college days, when thatís what there was to bum off of roommates. White head under clear yellow pour,

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
I havenít rated this yet? Itís a very pale water yellow with almost no head. Smells like every other pale lager. very crisp sweet taste, almost no bitterness. maybe some lemon? Could drink this one while fishing.

1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Shared a pitcher with the bowling team. They always have a different $7 pitcher and this week was Labatt. Wow was it bad. Straw color. Taste like stale Bud with some sugar water added. I donít mind when the $7 pitcher special is Pabst, Coors, or Miller, but this stuff was terrible.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
355 ml can from a six-pack from Liquor Depot, served in a lager pint glass. Pours a pretty bright golden hue, with little to no visible carbonation and a white head that retreats quickly, with tiny traces of lace. Aroma is malt/grain and...perhaps a whiff of hop or apple? Pretty fresh and bright, anyway. Flavor is biscuity malt and grains, some mild corn, and is moderately sweet. The mouthfeel/palate is fine, and the brief aftertaste is just biscuity/bready. Overall, nothing offensive. Like its Genuine Lager cousin, itís an underwhelming, overpriced, but perfectly drinkable and serviceable casual macro beer. I can sorta see why thereís a loyal following for "Blue" here in Canada, including my father, brother, and best friend.
