1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: AUG 14, 2016 Bottle at a wedding. Pours a very clear pale golden with no head and no lacing. Nose is very exclusive to corn I would say. Taste is dry and of corn with a very light bitterness. Body is light, carbonation high and prickly and mouthfeel is watery. Refreshing. lol

Just a good basic beer Straw like in color with a thin white head Pretty bland in taste. Goes down easy and smooth. Good summer beer.

I got this at Friar Tucks. Pours gold with a white head. Taste lightly sweet, grain, plain macro lager. I thought this was ok. I could drink this again.

For a light lager it’s not bad. Tastes sort of clean and crisp. But perhaps I’m just partial.

A session beer that is your typical lager, very drinkable. Not bad for a macro brew.

Bottle. It’s a clear, golden colored beer topped by a minimal sized white head. Malty-sweet aroma with fruityness and a hint of hay. It’s thin to medium bodied and softly carbonated, with hints of bitterness. Pale malts, generic fruits and some hay in the flavor, with a touch of yellow apples in the rather short finish. Sort of quenching, but not very good this one. 150612

Big fuckin 24oz can (from the Jewel... after work... and I wanted something cold not made by Sam Adams or Miller). Okay, so many years ago, this was my favorite beer (besides Guinness) and I drank a shit ton of it (late 80s early-mid 90s, before craft beer developed into the adventure it is today). But there was no RateBeer back then and I haven’t drank of these in decades (Molson Canadian became my favorite cheap hockey-watching beer of choice by 1996) so yeah. I’m rating it today for the first time. Most of the points are for appearance and body. It tastes like most other cheap adjunct-laden lagers and is fine if all you want is a watery beer to drink while watching a game or grilling. But nothing interesting or different than most ’pale lagers’. Pale straw yellow, white head, decent retention, grainy, corny, goes down like a $5 hooker: quick and practical. Okay. I think the stout I put in the freezer to chill is ready, so I’ll do a real rating here shortly. Yay Canada.
