341 ml - This captured the spirit of the style. Good malt with lots of spice. Entry level rye.

Bottle. Don't get much aroma from this, maybe a little rye smell, but only very faint. The taste is mild and kind of bland. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thanks again to “cheap” in fact he is the only other rating on this beer. I agree with cheap, this brew does have more personality than their other brews (which do taste very similar to one another). But, typical light bodied, smooth, not very hoppy, and not quite that bit of a rye brew either, but tasty and drinkable.

Probably one of the labatt beers with more personality. My experince with labatt is that of a fairly smooth drinkin beer. this one tries to come off like that at first but then with each slug a medium short bitterness sets in. Good amount of co2. Yez, it tries to build to something like a stronger rye beer but never really quite gets to that IPA impact which is so common in many stronger rye beers. Never goes over the top. If I was to give this a alky value by taste, it might be about 5.8%. After a while I notice a slight volatile metallic aroma in the glass. Not bad overall for a lager lover.
