3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle in NH. Pours clear, light brown with a fine, creamy tan head. Light doughy brown bread in the nose, faint leaves. Light to medium sweet flavor, mild bready malts, mellow leafy bitterness, faint dried berries. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Simple finish, basic lightly toasted malts, leaves, berries, hints of cocoa. Itís pretty acceptable.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle from the four type variety case. Weak, insipid and anemic. The low cost of the case explains everything.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle @ home tossed via courtesy of BlackIPA. Tasted during the Pussypete presents Molson/Labatt Grand Tasting 2013 in my parentís basement. Cheers! Pours a clear, deep reddish brown appearance with a lbrown head. A bit nutty, bland, toasted malty, corny aroma. Thin, metallic, weird fake nutty, a bit watery flavor. Drinkable but certainly not very good.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Caponeís. Pours translucent chestnut color with 2-finger clingy off-white head. Nose is earthy, nutty, vienna malty. Tastes earthy and malty, on the dry side, with finishing nuts. This one doesnít suck.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle into a goblet, pour is a nice red brown with a thin but cream head. Taste is toasted malt, with nutty under tone, co2 is also there. Finish is clean malt, not bad at all. For the cost very good.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Very very nutty aroma, but itís sprinkled over a very sweet, pretty weak malt aroma. Like hazelnut dumped into a pint of Harp. The alcohol is surprisingly conspicuous here.
Clear glassy brick red color, with a finger of decent white head. Looks like a nice amber.
The flavor of an English ale (sugars, toffee sweetness), but with that very incongruous hazelnut additive. Itís basically like an ale with a shot of hazelnut; itís just weird.
Feels slick but with a little dustiness. Actually really good for style. Itís not altogether unpleasant, but itís a weak sister. Itís like a sweet Cafe American.
