This beer is awesome. My girlfriend thinks this is the worst beer ever but she is wrong.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Hooker (465) - Coquitlam, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 11, 2004
Your typical big box brewery. just a regional name for the national brand. had this in Winnipeg in ’85 when I didn’t know any better. clear yellow in colour. fizzy lager/pilsener clean taste with nothing distinctive.

Gold colour. Bubbly. Maintains a decent thin white head. Macro-corn aroma. Of course almost tasteless, but in a smooth way (har-har). Some sweetness but forgetable other than as a cold fast-food chaser.

Ever had Labatt Blue? Then you’ve had this as well. Virtually an identical pale lager, light golden yellow in appearance, with a standard big business flavour. It does not stand out from other lagers, but it doesn’t offend either.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 reebtogi (2197) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 6, 2012
355ml can pours a pale straw color with a small white head and no lacing. Aroma is light grains and hops. Taste is slightly metallic with an undesirable hop bitterness that lingers. Below average macro lager which I drank long before I knew any better.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 jerc (5591) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 20, 2010
2010-06-18. Crisp pale yellow with a small white head that fades. 2+ Sweet industrial pale malts in aroma. Flavour is similar, very sweet pale malts, and an odd not quite fruit character that is not entirely unpleasant, but a bit bizarre. Average palate. Not as bad as it could be, but certainly not delicious. Bottle via Savvy1982

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 pootzboy (1312) - Hawgville, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 10, 2007
Bottle: Part of a trade but have chugged this many times in pubs and parties in Dauphin and Brandon.
The Quintessential Manitoba "off-sales" beer...the beer of country cruising and fishing....more of these bottles and cans dot the Man. landscape than any other beer.
Deep yellow, fizzy, light grainy-husk smells..sweet, grainy taste, stale hops, a tad harsh with a fast finish.
The hop bite most brewers hope for is replaced by an unaged harshness to this cheap-assed drink....ot no idea why this brand survived in Man. and white seal tanked.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 HogTownHarry (4872) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - JUL 12, 2011
June 18, 2010. 341ml bottle shared by jerc & mabel with me, blankboy and gregclow. Yes, we split a 12oz bottle six ways - trust me, it was MORE than enough. Shudder. Pale yellow, clear, flat, no head - 2-. Fusel, acetone aroma (this is beer?), cheaply sweet and weirdly floral. The taste - sweetened corn, vaguely like a cheap fortified cider watered down and strained through stale, sunburnt weeds. Thin, watery, slightly boozy mouthfeel, certainly adequately carbonated, with a weird stale, sugary harsh aftertaste. Actually, not totally horrible, but cheap, harsh, a bit ugly and completely without any possible reason for existing. Who drinks this bum juice?
1.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 DuffMan (4429) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 1, 2007
Single can purchase from Sherbrooke Liquor store in Edmonton. The can states it is "naturally aged" (as opposed to all of those artificially aged beers), which I think may be a reference to how long this crap remains sitting in the store unpurchased. Pale straw yellow, big bubbly head with aromas of stinky wet dishrag. Featureless pale macro palate, on the sweet side, harsh finish. A step below Blue even.

Big props to Josh for getting us into the elusive club! Cabbage is strong in the nose. Clear golden body is topped by a low, partial cover of head. Flavour follows the aroma. Light body moderate carbonation. I really have nothing more to say about this beer. Bottle sampled with Oakes.
