one of the most refreshing beers i have ever had, great with hot wings or pizza, a bit expensive, easy drinking, but nice subtle taste and clean finish, nice colour and average head, light corn smell. this beer lives up to its name, just to price

0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 Slacks (615) - Bolton, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 27, 2007
341ml Bottle: My wife’s family have SO many weddings every year, always at the same place, who only serve five pieces of macro crap. Finally, last night, I decided to try Crystal. The lady at the bar informed me, with a very straight face, that I’d "never drink another brand" after; high praise, indeed! Poured a gentle, unassuming yellow with an ever-so-slight edge of white head on the plastic glass t’was poured into. A delicate aroma of air and water. The taste.. well, it’s better than Blue. But then again, so is a ninja throwing star to the left nut.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 iowaherkeye (2431) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 5, 2006
12oz bottle, no date. Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of light corn and grain, spicy, earthy hops. The hops are very subtle. The taste is the same. Sharp carbonation, watery mouthfeel. A decent pale lager--which isn’t saying much.
1.1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 chainman (104) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 7, 2006
Someone told me this stuff was like 50 and Blue mixed together...if that were true, I wouldn’t hate this beer so much. Bland, boring, and not really any better than Blue, just different in a gross way. Not surprising that even old men don’t buy this anymore. You’re better off getting Lucky Lager, as there’s barely a difference.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 sinkhole (258) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 24, 2006
Standard light yellow appearance, with a bit of a white head. A slightly stronger malt flavouring than most macro lagers. Worth checking out but probably not sticking with.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 MrManning (1942) - London, Ontario, CANADA - APR 11, 2006
Thanks Jimmy for this one! Bottle- Sparkly gold pour emits a loud and fizzy bleached white head, with little retention. Mostly grainy aroma with a slight skunk. Stale hops flavours offer more flavour than blue, but after reading the description about Saaz hops, I tried to detect these very distinguishable hops, and couldn’t. There’s more flavours here, but I can’t put my finger on it. Better than blue in any event. Doesn’t seem to be too popular in my area.

341ml brown bottle. Light straw colour with a small foamy head. Dusty, grainy aroma. Some malt flavour, faint hops in the finish with some notes of grain and minerals. Highly carbonated, thin body.
