COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fresh, smooth taste coupled with pronounced hop character distinguishes it from other lagers. Editor's note: Used to be called "Genuine Draft" but they've dropped the "Draft".

(Can 35,5 cl) Comes as "Labatt Genuine Draft". This pours a pale golden with a very white head. Aroma is sweet and corn-like - flavour pretty much the same. No real bitterness. Inoffensive and fairly quenching. We’re calling this the "2CV beer" because it comes in a weird corrugated can! 040792

Pale golden, white fast dissipating head. Pale malt aroma, slightly sweet. Flavour is sweet up front with a very thin body. Very metallic finish. Poor and unpleasant.

Bottle. Pale yellow body with a tiny white head. Grainy not quite skunky but strange lightly vegetal aroma. Watery, thin cereal and cardboard flavour. Thin Body. Poor.

Labatt advertise this one as with unique taste. It might be all they saying but with one notch below. Boring, boring, boring American Standard. One other hand I can say that had horrible taste or aroma , it is just so boring after having Edelweiss few moments ago .

Bottle (341ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow, jerc and Tupalev - tupalev’s bottle. Poured pale flat yellow with a wispy little head. Nasty, (bad) sour-funky aroma - tries to be sweet; fails - reminiscent of spoiled grain and dead weeds. Taste is scorched grassy-sweet, with sour grain and cardboard, thin, almost - ALMOST - hoppy bitter, ugh. Watery body, astringent and lightly carbonated - just poor - smells horrid.
