SHMEDLEY BEER TASTING 09-16-2006 Bland with obvious corn, and a slight bit of straw-like malt in the nose. Thnk weak head and ever so slight skunk aroma. Black and whte and bad all over.

Sampled at my brother-in-law’s 30th birthday party. Yellow in colour with lots of carbonation. Stale light malt aroma, along with some higher alcohols. Very thin bodied and thin tasting. Fizzy with a bit of herbal chemical bite. Probably quite similar to Labatt Blue, with a bit more sugar added. Headache in a bottle?

salty malt aroma. Pours a light golden brown, thin head. Watery flavour, light grassiness, rubbery finish.

taste alot like Blue but without the funky aftertaste. not a bad Ice beer. its just another lager to me.

750ml can, poured in a glass. Big gassy head that disappears quickly but leaves some okay lacing. Tastes like a regular beer, though the ice brewing has removed that macro aftertaste, so it gains another point. More drinkable than its non-iced counterpart, Blue, though ultimately it’s just another pale lager. Nothing really wrong with it, and quenches the thirst, but I can spend my money elsewhere.

Not a fan of Lagers, and this one is pretty much the same to me, a tin mouth feel, a hint of alcohol, I’d much rather be having 50.
