Can. Golden yellow with a big fluffy white head that fades away entirely. Chemically alcohol aroma, slightly sweet. Flavour is fairly sweet and surprisingly clean at cold temperatures. Bland. Mild sweet malt and alcohol. Average palate, touch thin. Meh. was 300th Ontario rating prior to some shifts in province allocation.

UPDATED: MAR 15, 2007 Bottle 341 ml
Aroma: Wet, medium green grainy mash, light hints of green apple.
Clear pale gold with medium small white top.
Medium light body with above average carbonation. When warmer light pale malts are found. No rocket science here. This could serve as perfect example of Canadian Macro Lager. Fairly smooth and clean yet with out character, body nor substance.

Bottle (341ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow and Tupalev, bottle courtesy of me and LCBO singles bin. Poured pale clear gold, quick diminishing almost white average foamy head. Not much aroma at all - sugary, some stale "hops" and grain, gets typically vegetal on warming. Tasted flat, sugary sweet, alcohol was noticeable (plonky wine taste), a bit wheaty and a pretty strong chemical aftertaste. Mouthfeel harsh and flat, with chemicals: yum. Overall thin, harsh, boring, sugary - another doozy from the big "L".

From a big honkin’ can. Medium gold colored with a white head. Surprise, surprise, lots of corn with some bread fill the nose. Rotting corn and burning plastic are not pleasant flavors in any situation. This also had a metallic finsh. Easiyl one of the few worst tasting beer I have ever tried.

Slips down smoother than a silky fart. And tastes sweeter too! And has that wonderful regurgitated creamed corn flavour which induces a delectible nausea. Note: In man, the urine is a clear, transparent fluid of an amber color and peculiar odor, with an average density of 1.02. The average amount excreted in 24 hours is from 40 to 60 ounces (about 1,200 cubic centimeters). Chemically, the urine is mainly an aqueous solution of urea, salt (sodium chloride), and uric acid, together with some hippuric acid and peculiar pigments. It usually has an acid reaction, owing to the presence of acid phosphates of soda or free uric acid. Normally, it contains about 960 parts of water to 40 parts of solid matter, and the daily average excretion is 35 grams (540 grains) of urea, 0.75 gram (11 grains) of uric acid, and 16.5 grams (260 grains) of salt. Abnormally, it may contain sugar as in diabetes, albumen as in Bright's disease, bile pigments as in jaundice, or abnormal quantities of some one or more of the normal constituents.

Initially a pretty strong almond aroma. Golden, ok head. Thin boring taste - still some almonds, but allthough i like almonds and marzipan a lot, I do not think it is fitting here. Sticky malt aftertaste.

Mild sweet aroma does little to attract or entice. Clear golden body with huge white head that recedes rapidly to a partial cover. Vaguely sweet flavour has some apple character but flavour id generally low. Light body with crisp, strong carbonation but watery texture. Bottle. Entered from notes.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow & tupalev -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a clear sparkling light gold with a spare diminishing fizzy white head. Mild sugary sweet aroma of malt and grain. Flat, bland flavour is also sweet and grainy and yes, I also detected the bad white wine taste. The pathetic part is how harsh this beer tastes, it tastes more like a 8% or more beer. Another bad Labatt beer.
