Bottle. UK version is 5% abv. Gold, thin white head and harsh condition. Starchy malt in the nose, sweet but nastily bitter in the mouth and mercifully short and dry in the finish.

Smells sweet, golden, creamy head. Malt flavour, some bitterness. Malty after taste is good, fair carbonation, average beer.

It comes in an oil can, yet it tastes like radiator fluid. Tart on the sides, which seems to be the "Ice" hallmark from brand to brand. Sweet, lost carbo rapidly. Corny. I’ll never buy another, but I’d drink a free one if you had BBQ to go with it.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 cheap (2965) - Quiptown & Central Valley, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 17, 2008
From a 12 oz balack can. Ubiquitous pale yellow but a decent creamy thin head. Fairly clean aroma, reminds me a bit of the niagara river and a litttle soap. Does have a tad of that cheap ice beer flavor but much less than I expected. You can only tell its there after you swallow. Surpisingly good lacing on the side of my glass, like the see thru lingere of yer favorite girlfriend. Towards the end it is a bit difficult but yet does not leave its manners behind. Comes across more like a heavy lager with a bit more alky rather than a cheap ice beer. Finish is a somewhat coarse but remains gentlemanlike thru the session.

bottled. I expected this to be similar to natty ice...and Ive had both nattty light and labatt and preferr labatt obviously. So basic logic let me assume that labatt ice would be better than natty ice. Im not sure...though. Aroma is nothing. Taste is a bit dry but smooth. The taste of alcohol is more dominant in this than in a Mad Elf. Its better than natty ice though.

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2008 [40] Well, after swearing off 40s, I relent and grabbed one of these bad boys. Good old ice beer. How you make me drunk. Very yellow, very corny, very nasty. Left me cringing after the first mouthful, but got slightly better as it went on. If you’re going to go 40s, I’d stay away from the beer.

Very strong beer--too strong, will knock you on your ass in a hurry if you are not careful. The first few swallows are tough to get down. Not the best aftertaste.

Bottle shared with blankboy, HogTownHarry and gregclow - courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pale yellow. Some alcohol and grain in aroma. Strong cheap white wine Labatt taste. More alcohol and grain. Wow, this is truly awful, but seems to have a lot going on compared to corona. Yeck.

Without a doubt one of the worst beers on the planet. If you don’t like quality beer, you may like this.
