Perfectly drinkable, kind of skunky only drink if freezing cold. That’s it.

24 ounce can. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a clear gold color with about an inch and a half white head. Head retention and lacing are both decent. Aroma is sweet and grainy malt. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there’s also a slight bitterness noticable. Mouthfeel/body is light but not watery, and it’s also a bit slick, surprisingly. Carbonation is good. Rating it for the style of beer this is, I’d say it’s close to average overall. It’s not an awful brew, but it’s not exactly good either. For $1.19 a can, I can’t complain too much. I’d drink it again for that price, especially if there weren’t any better choices available.

Has a pale golden color . Smell is of corn and grains. Taste is crisp, some grains and corn, light malts. Overall not a terrible beer, but price point is it’s best feature.

I was a regular drinker of Labatt’s Ice in the mid 90’s. I was caught up in the ice beer craze and found this one to be the best. I re-visited Labatt’s Ice yesterday while watching football. This beer is drinkable, has some flavor and packs a wallop. Pours a nice golden color, some big bubbles in the head, and has a corny aroma. Better off just drinking it out of the can. I’d drink it again, and it is the best ice beer out there.

One of the better ice beers i have had. But i am not suprised, given the great taste of labatt blue and labatt canadian ale. The labatt brewing company has come through yet again.

Decent Beer. Not a personal favorite of the Labatt line. Good very very cold though.

Pours a white, four finger-head that vanishes quickly leaving traces of lace. Clear, very pale amber color. Light carbonation and very light bodied. Nose is faint sweetness. Starts sweet but the sweetness isn’t from malt more like apple juice, finish has just a hint of hops. Good session beer and better than the American ices. $1.45 for a 340ml bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.

the sickly young brother of MAXIMUM ice, occupies a confusing spot between malt liquor and cheap beer, but is easily surpassed in this market niche by steelback. max ices flavour likely becomes sickly, but the much quicker intoxication leaves only pleasant memories of the first sips, while regular ice takes too long and you just wonder why youre drinking it
