dprior (118), Somerville, Massachusetts, USA Dec 19, 2003 Don't drink this beer if you're looking for an enjoyable beer drinking experience. This is the beer you drink with your buddies while watching the game. Preferably in baseball season (a little too light for thos January football games). A sour/flat smell and appearance. Leave it in the bottle. I gave it a few extra overall points for added alcohol (for an american standard beer anyway).
cloudstrife (28), Rochester, New York, USA Sep 7, 2008 12 oz bottle poured into pint glass. Yellowish gold color with an amber hint. White head that disappeared quickly. Sharp alcohol smell. Taste definitely better than expected after smelling it. Better than Bud Ice. But nothing really notable with the taste. A little disappointing that it is only 5.6% when I get an ice beer for the games of beer pong I would like it to be more. Watery on the palate, with an abrupt ending. Overall too expensive for what you get, would much rather have a keystone ice for 3 bucks less a twelve pack. Nejhleader (783), Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 20, 2008 24oz can, not the worst stuff, i guess you get what you pay for, has a bit of a malt liquor element, a little sweet malt, littly grassy. cheapdark (1559), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 17, 2008 From a 12 oz balack can. Ubiquitous pale yellow but a decent creamy thin head. Fairly clean aroma, reminds me a bit of the niagara river and a litttle soap. Does have a tad of that cheap ice beer flavor but much less than I expected. You can only tell its there after you swallow. Surpisingly good lacing on the side of my glass, like the see thru lingere of yer favorite girlfriend. Towards the end it is a bit difficult but yet does not leave its manners behind. Comes across more like a heavy lager with a bit more alky rather than a cheap ice beer. Finish is a somewhat coarse but remains gentlemanlike thru the session. twindadplus2 (357), Wisconsin, USA Jul 31, 2008 An average pale lager. Seemed a bit sweet and carbonation was flat. I wouldn’t buy it but won’t refuse a free one either. MrBeerFanatic (201), jamestown, New York, USA Jul 17, 2008 Not the worst ice beer I’ve had but still pretty bad for a beer. Nothing really going on good here worth noting.
