1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 mds (2119) - Toronto, - MAY 6, 2005
bottle. translucent golden colour, small head. sweet grainy malt aroma, subtle hops. wow! is this what you call "full flavour"? I’ve really been missing out. Heh, it’s pretty much a 180...bland. high carbonation. sweet and grassy flavour. I don’t think I’ll be drinking this again anytime soon.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 DavoleBomb (1143) - Pennsylvania, USA - APR 25, 2012
Poured into a pils glass. 24 oz. can, which is following a can of Labatt Blue. Only 0.6% higher in ABV, some ice beer.
2.5 A: Clear medium yellow color. I swear this is lighter than the blue. Anyway, it certainly gives a bigger head. Four fingers of frothy white head. Retention is average and some specks of lacing are left.
3.0 S: Like the Blue, this has a hint of maltiness to it without a lot of sickly sweet corn. No hops. Not saying this smells good, but it’s not terrible.
3.0 T: The taste is not bad either. Light bready maltiness. Mimimal corn. No hops. Not horrible.
3.5 M: Heavier light body. Carbonation level is reasonable. Slightly chewy with a touch of creaminess.
3.5 D: Easily one of the best AALs I’ve had unless my palate is just off today. I’m rather not have this again, but wouldn’t be too pissed if I did.

Has a pale golden color . Smell is of corn and grains. Taste is crisp, some grains and corn, light malts. Overall not a terrible beer, but price point is it’s best feature.

341ml bottle pours a pale straw color with a small white head and no lacing. Aroma is light grains and hops. Taste is light malt sweetness with a grassy hop bitterness which is undesirable and tastes cheap. Average macro lager.

Bottle can all types of ways it could come. It has lots of boozy smell and taste. Not good not bad . I would rather drink this then blue.

Smooth which is nice. Not a terrible after taste of alcohol not the worst ice I’ve had.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 retinadoc (63) - - DEC 25, 2011
Bottle. Less hoppy and flavorful than Labatt Classic or Labatt Ice. Heavier, likely due to higher ABV. Would likely not try again.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Joeh (2036) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - AUG 19, 2011
A rating from an old notebook. Bottle, 4.3% and brewed in the UK. Pale gold. Smooth, low carbonation, sweet and grainy malt. Pretty drinkable but of course very plain and boring. Just another macro lager.
1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 Metalchopz (1429) - Quebec, CANADA - AUG 16, 2011
Originally rated August 2006. Shit, this stuff is bad. Bubbly white foamy head, with no retention, small amount of lace and hardly any carbonation. Light golden in colour. The nose is of alcohol and dump manure. Flat watery mouthfeel that sucks with a chemical-grassy taste with some heart-burning sweetness to it. I mean corn tastes much better... where is it when you need it ?!!? And I thought Molson’s Black Ice was bad.

Just another Ice beer. It’s taste just about the same as the regular Labatt Blue except it has a bit more kick in the alcohol dept.
