1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 JPDIPSO (4957) - Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 28, 2008
Very pale straw color with a Fizzy, white, sharp snapping bubbles. Mildly sweet lime scents. LIght sweet start with a touch of lime zest joining in the middle and carrying on into the finish. Some actual malt and beer flavors do seem to come out in the linger which is the only saving grace in this one. A pale lager with a shot of lime juice. Big whoop!

Labeled Labatt Twist. To me, there are two specific joys in beer drinking: sampling a beer that is so unique and incredible that it is completely stunning, and sampling a beer that is so heinous that you are compelled to warn others of its crapiness. The recent trend of Lime beers, as a rule, fall into the second category, and Labatt twist is no different. This is so horrible that the only good things I can say about the beer is that 1. it’s cold ( which, i suppose, is kudos to me for having a fridge and keeping the beer in there) and that it’s 2. carbonated (I guess I should thank Labatt for not bottling flat beer?). Don’t ever drink this, trick someone else into drinking it.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 puboflyons (1111) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 4, 2008
I believe this has been taken out of retirement, brewed, and repackaged as Labatt Twist. The label reads "Lager with Natural Lime Flavor." Mine was an 11.5 fl. oz bottle marked D14L01 1158. The pour is an extremely carbonated pale yellow with off-white fizzy head that dissipates quickly. You can’t miss the lime in the aroma and maybe the yeast. Average body. The taste is also yeasty and sprinkled with lime. Better than the Anheuser-Busch ready-made lime beers. It was refreshing.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 jbuzz (690) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 27, 2008
Labled Labatt Twist.
I enjoyed this. Taste is of lime mixed with a very light americanish lager. Would be a good pairing with a burrito or taco dinner.
1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 MrManning (1942) - London, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 31, 2008
341 ml bottle-Sparkling golden pour unleashes a fizzy, short lived white fizz. Nose is grainy and of soda pop with cardboard. Taste is of sweetish lime aid mixed with a very light lager. Marked bitterness, but it is fake and harsh. Papery, lime finish. Quite spritzy and non beer like. Beer for people who don’t like the taste of beer.
1.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 Radek Kliber (5171) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - SEP 17, 2007
Bottle 341 ml
Appearance :Clear golden liquid with strange head that is more fitting to soda than beer.>
Nose:Off sourness, sweet white sugar, canned lime pop.3- Flavour/Palate: Blend of poorly brewed pale lager with dose of mainstream lime soda. Off pop flavor. Truly horrible combination. Totally artificial palate. Even considering this as typical alcoholic pop is it quiet awful potion. Only for hardcore beer hunters.

"Ceci est non disponible au Québec"
C’est meilleur que la Corona Extra, mais sans le goût de lime, une prète d’argent.
