Canette 473ml.

355ml can pours a pale golden color with a big white head that settles quickly and leaves no lace on the glass. Aroma is cheap grains and hops. Taste is slightly metallic with a light malty sweetness and cheap hop bitter which lingers and is not pleasing to the palate. Terrible stuff.

Originally rated July 2006. Got the 40oz. of this one at The Beer Store. Pours a golden colour with a white foamy head that goes away quickly and leaves nothing behind. Uneven carbonation, coming from only a few spots. Not a good looking brew. Typical Canadian macro malt nose with not too much alcohol present. Watery mouthfeel with no burn. Malty taste with lots of corn in the aftertaste. Effective drunkos.

I saw this on a store shelf while on a road trip in Florida- immediately bought it. Poured from a 24 oz. can, Labatt Max Ice has a very thick, quickly overflowing head and a clear, bubbly, golden appearance, with a good amount of lacing left behind. The aroma is a combination of grains, clean water, and a slight hop spiciness. Taste is the same, but with added light sweetness and a subtle alcohol burn. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Labatt Max Ice finishes refreshing, crisp, and highly drinkable. After the second glass, I could really feel this one in my head (empty stomach). Overall, I did like its robust taste, and I would have it again. RJT

473 ml can from the lcbo. 2011 vintage. pours golden with a lasting white head. really nice looking beer actually. terrible junky adjuct aroma. flavour is much better, almost sweet in a belgian ale sorta way. over carbonation and sweetness reduces the drinkability. a perfect way to get to 1400 ratings!

24 oz can, you can taste the Canadian gasoline in this one, along with some vodka and corn.
