Okay, this is another one that I found in a little depanneur in Pointe a la Croix PQ, purchased as a single bottle. It has a distinctly different label design from Nordic (Labatt’s other non-alcohol beer), and acually resembles Molson 0.5 quite a bit (with a big difference in that this beer has no "0" in front of their ".5"). Anyway, I wonder whether this is the french version of Nordic, because it essentially is the same beer-- pale, sparkling, watery, and cidery. Earlier Rating: 2/14/2006 Total Score: 1.2 Not a good sustitute for the real thing. Overly carbonated and tasting like a cider more than a berr. Very appley fruit character, and thin as water. When my wife was pregnant she drank Upper Canada’s non-alcoholic beer, and I recall it being waaaay better. I’ll have to try it again and rate it properly.

Can. Pours a faint yellowish coloured body with a frothy white head and lacing. The aroma is fairly weak and corn comes to mind along with some nondememo grain. The flavour isn’t much better as all you really get is water with some husk flavours.

Bottle at Pink Pony, Mackinac Island, Michigan. Pours respectable gold with a faint head and nice lacing. Aroma is tea sweetened with Sweet-N-Low. Flavor is corn meal and oats. Palate is only slightly thicker than water. Not bad for a N/A, actually.

A bit watery. I don’t think it tastes as bad as it’s made out to be, considering as it’s low alcohol and a macro brew. It isn’t up to regular Blue (not high praise in the first place.) If you can’t drink alcohol for whatever reason, you could do worse.

Oh my this is fatally tasteless. Thanks to Luke for the sample- Pours sparkling gold with one the shortest head lives I have witnessed. Weird fruit aroma with corn and wet paper dominating. Spritzy watery corn flavours with lots of metallic nuances. FInish is tonic watery. Sweet lord it is rough.
