2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 jerc (5444) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 12, 2005
Can. Pal crisp yellow body that would be hinting at a high vitamin diet in other liquids. A vigorous pour yields an uxpectedlylarge white head that fades quickly but leaves a respectable head. Aroma is sweet, fruity and metallic. Flavour is fairly bland but not unpleasant. Odd blend of diluted apple juice and a thin sweet malt solution. Surprisingly devoid of hop presence. Palatae is average, perhaps even a touch more full bodied than many macros. Bit flat though. Definitely the best n/a beer I have had, or at least the one with the least unpleasant aspects.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 cazort (456) - Newark, Delaware, USA - JAN 12, 2005
UPDATED: JUL 21, 2005 This is a weak tasting non-alcoholic brew that is nonetheless clean and refreshing. More similar to Molson’s NA beer, not quite as watery, but less flavourful (if that’s possible). Doesn’t have the chemical flavour that O’Doul’s has, but has less flavour. Lags far behind the european imports.
0.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 1/20 obisbeer (558) - Barcelona, SPAIN - DEC 15, 2004
Clear steely yellow with white head. Corn and malt extract nose. Sweet vegetal flavor leaves after an excruciating moment of rancidness. Please no more.
1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 OKBeer (1168) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - NOV 1, 2004
355 ml can. Pale yellow colour with a fully diminishing creamy and fizzy white head. Apple juice, corn syrup, and unfermented wort aroma. Light apple juice and there’s that unfermented wort again in the flavour. Light, thin, and dry mouthfeel, with a light fizzyness to distinguish it from that unfermented wort.

Clear pale straw. Fizzy white head. Mild cooked vegetable & unfermented wort aroma. Watery, sugary feel. Bland, watery flavour of cooked vegetables & green apple. Still, it wasn’t the worst beer I’ve ever had.
0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 daboskabouter (1470) - Fergus, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 4, 2004
Pissy light yellow color - little white head. Grassy nose - slightly skunked with hints of (gagg) pumpkin. Light and watery - fizzy with very little taste. Let’s just say I couldn’t get past the pumpkin. Frick.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Bryght (17) - California, USA - JUN 21, 2004
Not the best Canadian LA beer, but it’s better than 90% of American attempts! It’s a bit light, frothy and pale. But, at least there’s a hint of Canada in it, and that’s all I need!

Pretty run of the mill NA, average. Leave it to underage kids, women, and recovering alcoholics.
