Bottle, brown with red tones, minimal head, very sweet taste and aroma. it does taste like a cola. not much like porters that i’ve had.

Ok, first, I cant belive that this is called a porter, that’s almost as bad as calling kieths an i.p.a. Black and thick {instead of deep porter brown}. low carbonation. 5% alcohol, far too strong for the style. Roasted barley, makes this a stout. Sweet cloying flavour, slimy mouthfeel, mild hop, sweet coffie second taste. Truly offensive aftertaste. Ya like porter, avoid this one. Ya like stout? Avoid this one. Guinness? STAY AWAY! However, if you like caribian stouts, this one will probably keep you happy.

Nice looking medium brown shaded porter with ample tan head. Aroma is of nothing discernible. There are some slight hints of chocolate and coffee, but they are overpowered by the wateriness of this, as well as some other unknown taste going on? Overall, not very good.

Bottle. Black color and beige head. Not much aroma for this beer, light malt. Taste remind me of a mix between a Guiness and a cider. Weird taste for a Porter but, the most tasty beer from Labatt. Bière de couleur noire avec un collet beige. Odeur discrète de malt. Le goût me lle un mélange entre une Guiness et du cidre que j’avais essayé dans un resto a Montréal. Drôle de goût pour une Porter, c’est pas fameux mais, c’est la bière qui a le plus de goût chez Labatt.

Le gout de l’usine mélangé légèrement avec un peu de rootbeer. Le résultat est très agréable et surprends par sa légèreté. De couleur noir mais pas opaque, coule comme de l’eau. Se boit comme un bon verre de liqueur...Tres peu de gout, un petit peu sucré (less than rootbeer). Je n’en prendrais pas un 6 pack mais fut quand même agréablement surpris par le coté commercial de cette biere. Une biere du peuple et non une biere pour connaisseurs. Peut tres bien remplacer un bon coke avec une poutine...

12oz bottle poured into glass. Dark blackish amber color with a yellowish cream colored head. No strong smell, kind of disappointing there. Thin feel on the palate, and lacking malt in the flavor. A non distinctive porter that tastes like it is mass produced. In terms of darker beers really easy to pound em. Overall not the worst attempt for Labatt but much room for improvement.

A very heavy, sweet taste to accompany its dark colour. It’s thick as molasses, so it’s definitely not for casual drinking. Works well with cigars.

Bottle. Pours dark brown. One of the least flavorful porters I’ve tasted. Some chocolate, some malt, no hops. Very thin mouthfeel for a porter.

Had high hopes for this, finally bought a 6 pack the other day...very roasty and sweet..almost too sweet of a flavour for me with a lack of hoppy bitterness..
