UPDATED: FEB 26, 2006 Bottle. Brown beer with a very strong frothy head. The aroma is musty and dry and the flavour is marzipan, raisans, sultanas, suet and christmas pudding like with a malty dry finish. Overall an average beer.

Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate spicy - anise and cinnamon. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 141211

Bouteille de 75cl, titre à 6,5%. Couleur ambrée foncée, fine mousse moyennement abondante et de tenue correcte. Au nez très caramélisé ainsi qu’en bouche avec des notes de miel et d’épices. Savoureuse, celle-ci vient encore renforcer mon affection pour les bières de garde ambrées. Trouvée à Intermarché - Montigny en Gohelle.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Some spices. Moderate bitter nice caramellic flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Bottle from Voldby. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber brown. Aroma and taste are malt, caramel, nuts, cloves, anis and fruits.

Clear medium amber red color with a average, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, cinnamon, spicy, light roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, spicy, anis seed, allspice. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101119]

Bottle @ Friday Night Ulfborg Thing. Thanks to J&C. Pours cloudy amber with a small white head. Brunkager, honey, cinnamon. Quite sweet and one dimensional. Medium bodied. Cloying.

Amber with loads of floaties and large off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with spicy and malty notes. Sweet fruity flavor with cardemumm, toasted malt and caramel notes.

Bottled. A golden beer with sediment floating around under a huge orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, dust, and fruit. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of over ripe fruits, citrus, and grapefruits, as well as a lighter touch of spices, leading to a dry bitter finish.
