3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 andyhwcinc (1138) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 10, 2013
Purchased at Village de la Biere in Strasbourg, FR; enjoyed on a Friday late afternoon after a long work week. Appearance is a pretty cloudy dark gold with a very rich white head that laces to the glass. Aroma of Belgian yeast, clove, citrus hops, smell is soft but nice. Taste goes down with a light bitterness, clove comes out a bit more in the flavor, there is a bit of a maltiness to it as well and it is actually quite a bit thick. Overall pretty decent brew. Enjoyed the label art!
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 erickok (2282) - Tours, FRANCE - APR 23, 2013
Shiny golden body with small bubbles streaming upwards to create an off white head. Very moderate aroma, light grassy, pale malts. Refined, but a bit of a disappointment to be honest. Taste is also more soft, light sugar and refined and with a herbal aftertaste. Simple malts define this brew. Not too special, and I did expect something special from this brewer. Maybe the next one will be again. Really nice label though! (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 MacMoney (735) - Alabama, USA - APR 1, 2013
Bottle. Pours a hale orange with a medium, white head. Aroma is Belgian hops, floweriness, light plastic. Spicy as well. Taste is semidry with spice, apple and pear, the floweriness of Belgian hops. Dries up on the finish with yeast, marzipan caramel and some nettles. Fairly full and quite a bit of carbonation. Yet another one of those French IPAs.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 humlelala (691) - DENMARK - FEB 8, 2013
(33 cl bottle from Saveur Biere; Lot 438; BBD: April 2014) Gusher. Pours a bubbly, clear golden with floaties that fall to the bottom realitvely quickly. Creamy, medium white head. Good retention and lace. Aroma is estery with notes of banana and Belgian yeast. Oily texture, medium body, lively carbonation and a spicy finish. Taste is bitter and peppery spicy with hints of chewing gum. Different and not bad.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Niksko (109) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JAN 25, 2013
Bottle. Pours a light cloudy golden orange with two fingers of white head. Aroma is mostly peach and a tiny bit of orange. Attack is sweet malts, mid palate is more maltyness and some bardyard funk, and the finish is mild citrus bitterness. Very balanced and easy drinking. Not too over the top on the hops.

Bottle. An interesting beer to easily discover IPA’s and aromatic properties of hop: very fruity nose, and also fruity taste (lychee), without a strong bitterness.

Une bière blonde cuivrée qui nous dévoile un équilibre d’arômes de fruits exotiques, et un caractère houblonné.
Laisse en bouche une agréable amertume...
