after4ever (1629), Brier, Washington, USA Mar 16, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. Crystal clear medium amber with burnished copper overtones. Dense, creamy tan head. Mild, caramelly, toasty nose. Medium, somewhat watery body. Caramel and toast come through, joined by a tiny hint of strawberry ester...probably fermented a little hot. Mildly sweet finish. jcwattsrugger (3733), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Nov 5, 2007 on tap-pours an off white head and yellow/gold color. Aroma is medium malt-caramel, clove, spicy hops. Taste is medium malt-caramel, clove, secondary spicy hops. Interesting. Mild/minimum carbonation. Headbanger (904), Aurora, Illinois, USA Sep 18, 2007 12oz bottle-An amber body with a thin white head and an aroma of grains and hops. Taste the same but a little watery. shigadeyo (1332), Southwest Ohio Area, Ohio, USA Sep 4, 2007 Pacific Northwest Vacation 2007
8/18/2007: LaConner ESB has a clear honey color and small, but lasting off-white head. An aroma of European malts, vanilla, and a hint of apple entices the senses. The mildly sweet flavor was something interesting around mid-palate that is difficult to place - evergreen or juniper berry maybe? A herbal hoppiness accompanies that dry finish. This beer is medium-bodied with a smooth and slightly creamy texture.
Draught (6% ABV) at LaConner Brewing Company in LaConner, Washington. Rating #41 for this beer...
DA (2252), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA Nov 14, 2006 From the bottle pours clear amber with a thin white head. Fruity hops in the nose, kinda tropical flavor to them. Didn’t have a great malt flavor and was kinda hop dominated. Just tasted bland and thin.
