Draught at the brewpub. Clear amber. Light hay aroma. Sweet and fruity, lightly smokey with notes of honey. Some syrup lures underneath. Low-medium bitterness.

Draught, at the brewpub

Deep orange-amber colour - radiant. Aroma of cherries, wood, pears, hint of toast. Woody bitterness mixes with caramel sweetness on the palate. These flavours seem well-matched here. Juicy, slightly fruity, with a dry finish.

Bottle, in the vaults of HI International. Buttery/toffee malts, also a bit cakey/bready. Hops are bitter dry and salty, rough and earthy, with some butterscotch.

Hazy orange color, sticky head, light lacing. Nose of sticky fruit & a subtle hint of sweet caramel scented malts & well balanced hops. Tastes lightly smokey, well full body & a nice malty finish with enough hops to balance. Good ESB, very malty.
