Pours gold with a white head. Smells perfumy and dry. Tastes crisp and resiny with some floral grassy hints on the finish.

tastes like a belgian style ale. can taste a little cascade hops but mostly cloves, banana. pretty dissappointing ale its by no means an ipa on any level, this is closer to a northwest tripel but not an ipa.

Tap@Brewpub. Floral hops aroma. Cloudy, yellow/orange colour, off-white head, fair lace. Light sweet, pretty bitter, light floral notes, hoppy grassy finish. Biting my lips, maybe a bit thin. Balanced, refreshing, flavourful.

On tap at the brewpub, enjoyed with my girlfriend and lots of other seemingly cool folks sitting throughout the pub. My 234th IPA rate, still # 1, I-Chi-Ro! I-Chi-Ro! Nice aroma that reminded me a bit of a toned down Surly Furious. Hints of lime, grapefruit, and floral hops. Toasty caramel malt undertones. Poured orange-golden with a nice head and good lacing. Nice citrus tones, not harsh or astringent, but pleasantly fruity. Grapefruit, lemon, softer sweet caramel and toast. Lingering crisp citrus notes as opposed to resiny bitterness. Really nice drinking almost quenching juicy IPA.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small off-white ead. Has a malty pine hoppy aroma with some grapefruit hints. Malty hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor with some hints of pine needles. Long hoppy bitter finish with hints of grapefruit and a hoppy bitter aftertaste.

Pours a hazy gold orange with a white head. Citrus, hops and pine in the aroma. Bitter, pine, and maybe some peat in the flavor making for a bitter finish.

A little bit different than many IPAs. I could taste peach. The finish has a subtle earthiness to it.

One of my all time favorite IPAs in the NW style. Extremely well balanced, the hops are agressive, but not overpowering, always in balance with a moderate malt background keeping everything in check. Great lingering resiny aftertaste.
