omhper (10454), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 23, 2002 Dark yellow hop dominated American style IPA. Lovely grape aroma.

Golden-amber colour. Grapefruity aroma with notes of caramel and wood. Low carbonation is a bit strange, but it adds to the resiny quality of the hops. Sweet malts walking somewhere in between fresh bread and caramel balance things off. Dry, citric and a bit piney in the finish, with a syrupy sweetness. The carbonation buggers up the mouthfeel though. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 07/06/2005

opaque orange, big off white head, chunks of whole hops floating on top, fresh hop aroma with a touch of sweetness, big bitter hop flavor, picks up some sweetness in and a malt backbone after the hops are strained out, bitter finish lasts forever, too much gimmic, the extra long dry hopping makes it too bitter

Rastacouere (5270), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Mar 9, 2006 Hazy dulled golden, white head with light lacing recedes to a film. Saucy butterscotch disturbs the otherwise highly floral, rather one-dimensional nose. Cheesy, floral, kinda aromatic, but most of all very very bitter palate bearing interesting woody spiciness, but ultimately lacking in malt for me to take it too seriously. Light-medium bodied, Okay carbonation cleans a bit the oily mess from the diacetyl. Certainly no challenge to their bottleworks version. hopdog (4564), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 10, 2006 12oz bottle acquired in trade with Larry Pitonka (thanks!). Poured a mediu and lighlty hazy orange color with a small sized white head. Aroma of buttered popcorn with maybe some caramel. Tastes of lighter butter, caramel, and pine and citrus. I couldn’t get past the nasty aroma.
