Bottle, 4.6%. Clear dark golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour is like many a macro lager, but not unpleasant. All the usual.

KnutAlbert (4613) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 1, 2008
0,5 l bottle in Riga. Lovely label with a summer still life with a glass of beer, some shrimps and cheese. Crisp dry pilsener wit the grainy malt typical of Latvian beers. Bitter hops makes thos refreshing and cleans the palate. Less body than some other Latvian beers, but very respectable.

FatPhil (6216) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 3, 2008
500ml bottle. Pale yellow, pours with a light head, but that fades. Nondescript aroma, a little bit of sweet plasticky malts. Taste is very watery, but has some odd tang - I wondered if it was ginger, but it faded so soon I couldn’t latch on to it. Rather insulting to pilsners - very feeble hops. And the malt isn’t particularly powerful either. Nothing particularly wrong with it, though.
