COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

500ml in a pure style bottle from a local Rema 1000 store. Brownish body colour with an decent off-white head. The old fashion bottle design and appearance turned out to be the best part of this one. Nauseating smell of brittle caramel. Watery malts and bland syrup in flavour. Offensive drain pour (shared at a rating session, Tromsø 10.03.2011).

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2012 Bottle from Rema 1000. This shit is brewed by Grans, and nowhere near Trondheim (lade gård). Metallic aroma. Tastes of metall, caramel and sugar. Probably the worst product in the "Lade Gård"-series.

Final bottle from the Trondheim REMA 1000. What do you call this seriously? It’s a weak attempt at a dunkel. I think "amber lager" about covers it. A step up from pale lager but nothing to get excited over.

Bottle. Pours caramel, with a creamy, quickly receding head. Aroma is not too bad, with notes of syrup, cookies and a hint of nuts. Flavour is sweet, lightly burned malts. Finishes of with a feel of artificial sweetener that’s not too pleasant at all.

Bottle. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Amber colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. No caramel. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate. Rubbish.

Pours dark copper with white head. Some dark aromas, but with a water taste that leaves a wide hole in the beer. It’s like Coors with a bit of chocolate dropped in.

Medium tan head disappears quickly with a hissing sound. Deep amber body with carbonation. Caramelly earthy wild berry aroma with strong buttery notes. Sweet-acidic earthy caramelly taste with buttery dusty notes. Thinnish body. Mild, soft mouthfeel, faintly slick. Dryish-sweet (and faintly acidic) dusty watery buttery aftertaste with caramelly vegetable notes. Did not finish. (0.5l bottle, Rema 1000, Lillestrøm.)

Bought two bottles of this at Rema 1000, total disaster, I seriously hope for the brewery’s sake that the beer was infected (even though this is catastrophic in it self), because if it wasn’t, this is the worst mash up of a parody of a beer EVER. The sheer sourness of this brew was so horrible that it was totally undrinkable. To quote that corpulent cartoon collector from the Simpsons: "Worst beer ever!"
