COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Pours golden with a small white head. Aromas of hay, dust, grain. Same in the mouth, very little concentration. A little below average Norwegian lager.

This lager is somewhat flat. Almost no foam and no carbonation. The flavor is fine enough, it smells great fresh grain on a slightly nutty background. When it comes to taste, then you get confirmed your fears. It tastes synthetic and very sweet to some caramel finery which is indefinable. Hops and malt notes are totally absent, and it is not an exaggeration to call it directly ugly. I can’t find anything positive in this lager. It goes straight into the kitchen sink.

Pour clear bright yellow, with a large frothy white head. Aroma of corn syrup, bread, caramel, over ripe fruit stuff. Taste is surprisingly sweet, with a faint bitterness. Watery bodied, with a father flat carbonation. Hmm... Not really my cup of beer.

Bottle contributed by, and shared with, EMJ at OSB 22.04.15. Clear pale golden. Huge, dense and persistent off-white head and lacing. Overly sweet and unfresh aroma of overripe fruit and artificial sweetner. Also some grass, flowers and wine gum. Quite malty taste, with moderate bitterness. Metallic. Unfresh aftertaste.

Fin bitterhet i ettersmaken. Munnfølelsen sitter umidelbart med god kraft.

Thin Pilsner. The saaz is not at all a marked aroma in the beer. Neutral and a bit boring.

Bottle 50cl. Golden with a white head. Buxus aroma, wit some sweet malt. Not nice. Flavour is more like water, very thin. Little hop present in the finish. Short finish.

Copenhagen 18/1 2015. 50 cl bottle from Rema 1000. Sort of rustic design. Pours clear yellow with white head. Quickly subsiding. Aroma is sour - notes of vinegar and cardboard. Not particulary pleasant. Medium carbonation. Taste is buttery and have an weird unpleasant after taste. Very faint notes of fruit. My first rather strange Norwegian beer experience.
