COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and a bit of hay, leading to a bitter lightly mineralic finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle, Rema 1000. The best product in the awful Lade Gård-series by Grans. Some grass in the aroma. Tastes vaguely of Saaz-hops for a second, then it becomes flat and dull. Almost editable, but stay clear.

Another REMA 1000 bottle from Trondheim. It was a pilsener. Nothing to write home about but at least a little more interesting than a pale lager.

Close to the perfect pilsner. Nice and fresh, with some aroma and a complex taste. Good for not to spicy meals.

Bottle. Pours a dull, hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is a peculiar sweetness, which is both tart, making it resemble yoghurt, and malty like a hvidtøl. As it warms, the tart note takes on a wine-like character, in addition to the yoghurt. Flavour is sweet, tart and sort of watery, with notes of bread and a mild bitterness. Remote notes of cardboard as it warms as well as the same tart yoghurt as is in the aroma. The tart note is a bit too strong for the style and clashes somewhat with the other impressions. Dry and tart finish with notes of bread and a lingering bitterness. Overall not that great, but had expected something worse. 05.04.12.
