Draft @the brewpub. Pours an amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy piney grapefruit aroma with hints of caramel. Fruity malty hoppy bitter piney flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter piney grapefruit finish.

On tap at Mohawk Bend, pours a cloudy opaque amber with a medium beige head. Aroma of pepper, floral hops, more pepper. Flavour of peppery floral hops that dominate completely, not much malt and not much besides the floral hops. Decent, but too peppery for me.

Draught at the Alehouse. Heavy citrus aroma, with grapefruit, tropical fruit, and some pine, too. Light coppery red, thin head. Strong pine and fruits in the initial / alc. kicks in and darker fruit flavors emerge in mid palate / final has big stomping bitter tracks. Medium-heavy body. A real heavy hitter. A bit harsh in mid palate. Good hopping, for sure. Rich and malty. Great. Note: bought a growler of this to take to friends in San Luis Obispo, and everyone liked it a lot.

Back log; from at least two years ago. On tap at brewpub; poured an amber/copper color with a medium sized head. Aroma was earthy, mesquite wood, BO and fruit. Drinkable for the ABV; Caramel, fruit and pine/bo in nice balance in the flavor. A good brew.

On tap at haven. Pours a hazy orange with small white head. Aroma is slight citrus with nothing much else going on. Taste is nectarine but in a candy sweet way. Normally I love this flavor profile in a choppy beer but this is middle of the road.

Copper/apricot color, white head. Nice tropical fruit aroma, citrus hops, dank pot notes and some noticeable alcohol in the nose. Flvavor is sweet and dank, light bitterness.

I went all the way to Agora to try this beer, and while I quite liked it, it was too boozy and too malty to get full nod as a great double IPA. 11% wtf? I would have been fine with 5oz of this one. I liked it well enough but I wouldn’t rush back for this one. Try their standard IPA, it was clearly better in my opinion.

Poured to a large Duvel tulip glass. Pours a deep transparent rusty orange, an aggressive pour kicked up a good three fingers of white head. The aroma is pretty awesome, tons of tropical fruit. Grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine, apricot, and fairly light pine in there too. The taste stays pretty true to the nose. Defiantly a nice dry west coast style IPA, the bitter sweet citrus rind is pretty prominent, I’m also getting a good amount of hop resin along with some pine in the finish (more pine in the flavor than the nose). Great mouthfeel, the body is on the heavier side of light, with a fairly high carbonation. The big hoppy flavors really coat the palate and stick around for a pretty long time. Overall a very nice beer, big, hoppy and dry, just as you’d expect from a west coast IPA.

Aroma: dank, resinous hops, citrus and lots of pine. Pours light amber, white head, average retention, nice lacing. Flavor is firmly bitter, but not astringent, nice pine and citrus hops, dank and musty, resin, booze is noticeable but under control, light caramel note and slight sweetness in the finish. Medium body and carbonation, smooth mouthfeel. Very nice brew.

On tap at Stone Brewing World Bistro. Hazy amber pour under a medium stone head with stubborn ribbons of lacing. Earthy, piney aroma. Aggressively hoppy initial flavor with a decidedly East Coast IPA profile. Bittersweet chocolate, toffee and citrusy coriander join the party. Sticky, almost abrasive texture and a sharp, dry finish.
