A bit too much celery seed, big hop vegetal notes but well balanced. A savory take on an IPA

On draft. Rate beer says 10.5% but the version I’m drinking is 9.5% . Tangerine and hazelnuts aroma. Dense lacing. Tastes of malty tangerine with a lasting, tart finish. Sophisticated.

Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy dark orange pour with white head, aroma brought big sweet orange, grapefruit, slight boozy notes with some melon, hints of grass, caramel, toffee in there. Taste is a mix of orange, grapefruit, sweet cracker and biscuit with a slight sweet boozy note, hints of grass, spice and yeast, finishing bitter.

From tap! Color is an amber with a nice white head. Aroma is sweet. Taste is very different hard to explain. I like it has a slight hoppy slight sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Ladyface. Full haze dark orange. Webby white lace. Nose is fresher pale ale grist, a tad raw and husky. Some rum soaked cantaloupe saves. Taste is quite juicy up front, moving to rum soaked cantaloupe then again to some insane dry. Damn these are attenuated to zero. Tannic mouth puckering dryness. Leave a little sugar in these hoppy beers please or they become overwhelming.

Draft @the brewpub. Pours an amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy piney grapefruit aroma with hints of caramel. Fruity malty hoppy bitter piney flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter piney grapefruit finish.

On tap at Mohawk Bend, pours a cloudy opaque amber with a medium beige head. Aroma of pepper, floral hops, more pepper. Flavour of peppery floral hops that dominate completely, not much malt and not much besides the floral hops. Decent, but too peppery for me.

Draught at the Alehouse. Heavy citrus aroma, with grapefruit, tropical fruit, and some pine, too. Light coppery red, thin head. Strong pine and fruits in the initial / alc. kicks in and darker fruit flavors emerge in mid palate / final has big stomping bitter tracks. Medium-heavy body. A real heavy hitter. A bit harsh in mid palate. Good hopping, for sure. Rich and malty. Great. Note: bought a growler of this to take to friends in San Luis Obispo, and everyone liked it a lot.
