COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An easy-to-drink ale with smooth, light malt sweetness initially, but finishes dry and holds a good Belgian character

On tap at Ladyface. Hazy golden with a one and a half finger white head, fair retention. Belgian yeast with some lemon and pear atop a wheaty background. Flavor is just a little sweet--blindy, it reminds me of their wit with the spice and wheat notes, but it’s lacking the perfumery florals (not as strong here, anyway). Back on track there is light toasty malts and some grassy hay notes, however light. Bitterness peaked at a 2, slightly herbal in the semi-dry finish. Light to moderate carbonation with a light to medium body. Much more than I expected by the name.

Bottle thanks to bman1113vr. Pours a hazy blond with white fizzy head. Aroma of hints of light fruit, grain and a bit of corn. Flavor has a light citrus note with some grain, faint vegetable, faint eart with a touch of hoppy bitter. Mouth feel is light body, a bit watery with high carbonation. Overall, not all that bad!

Thanks to bman1113vr for sharing this beer. 12 ounce handbottle. The beer pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a white head. The aroma is citrus and wheat. The flavor is strong wheat with some corn and citrus. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Not a lot going on with this beer.

Draugt at the brewpub. Hazy gold with a white head. Lightly spicy Roma with toas and bready malt. The flavor has a nice bready malt and subtle spice with a bright fruitiness that is also restrained. Hops are mild with a light spicy touch and mild bitterness. Light bodied and a little creamy. Nice stuff. Very clean tasting and drinkable overall.

big cereal taste. bold but not sharp. pretty fizzy too. bright yellow in color. a bit corn pop-py upon further drinking. totally different from the cask version that adds saaz hops.

On tap. Definitely a belgian and not a normal golden/blonde. Pours with a slightly hazed golden body with a lasting white head. Aroma of hay, straw, belgian yeast, dry and unripe pear notes and possibly a touch of candi sugar. Taste is sweet with bready characteristics up front and finishes quite dry with a medium to strong belgian yeast character. Slightly peppery finish. Lively effervescence. Easy drinking!

On tap for my brother’s birthday. Poured a rich amber/dark gold color with not much head. Served in a goblet if I remember correct. Aroma was yeasty, fruity and spicey with a good dose of banana as well. Flavor had the same flavor components with a nice balance of sweet and spicy elements. Another good beer.
