Black in color with a soapy, tan head. Roasted malt, cocoa powder, and coffee on the nose. There’s plenty of oak, a little bit of oak, and some hints of dark fruit and licorice. The flavor has a nice sweetness to it and a more pronounced chocolate note. Plenty of roast, coffee, a fair amount of oak, licorice, dark fruit, and a mild bitterness.
