Plum-amber with cream ring head. Nose is light acetic and cherry, paint thinner heat. Flavor shows nut and acetic cherry/wine front, sticky wood and sugar mid, bit of bile and red wine fruits finish. Thick throughout. A bit of increase and off-barrel.

Growler provided by GT2. Thanks! Poured a ruby color with a wispy white head. Sweet malts, with some light sour fruit notes. Touch of chocolate. Not bad. Pretty drinkable, especially for 9.5%.

Growler thanks to t0rin0. I guess the sixtel of this didn’t get advertised well at the RBSG LA 2012 grand tasting. This was filled from the keg and stored immediately. Bobby gave this to me IP in hopes it would garner some actual ratings. Well, hopefully it will get 10 to score.

Pours a clear, deep mahogany. Low carbonation. Weak, tan foam. Nose is chocolate, A1 steak sauce, savory, maple, weak paint thinner. Taste is chocolate chunk cookie, red wine, fair amount of citric tartness. Not boozy or sticky, interesting sourness this has picked up. Moderate cardboard/oxidation but restrained. Can’t wait to move to LA in June and hit up Ladyface on the reg.

Growler shared by GT2. Pours lightly hazy dark amber with a medium, fizzy off-white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is oak, plum and raisin notes, spicy and earthy hops, cookie and caramel malt. Flavor is malt dominant, dark fruity esters, light hops and bitterness with sour notes and a sweet finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Growler courtesy of GT2. Thanks man. The beer is chestnut brown with a thin collar. The aroma offs nuts, malt, booze, brown bread, booze. The flavor brings a tannic character, brown ale, some yeast, wine. Tannic finish with sweet, malty brown bread. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Good stuff.

Pours a hazy mahogany color with a fluffy khaki head. Nose of dark fruits such as raisins, plums, and black cherries. Good banana along with plenty of sweet toffee malts, a hint of vanilla, and some oak aroma. The flavor has a more noticeable oak profile and very enjoyable notes of vanilla to go with the sweet toffee malts. Plenty of raisin and plum fruit notes and a hint of spices, mostly clove, in the background.
