Draught at the brewpub. Dark brown with a creamy beige head and coffee bits floating on top (it’s a thing they do after pouring, and is pretty cool if you ask me). Lots of sweet coffee and mildly roasted grain in the aroma with a strong toasty component. Medium sweet with a very toasty malt flavor and some coffee and medium dark chocolate. The finish is relatively clean with a light bitterness. Smooth texture and medium body. Really nce stuff overall. Super drinkable with a ton of malt and coffee flavor.

Great porter. Smooth, rich, bold without being too sweet. All the roasty goodness you want in a porter. A little bigger at 6% than most porters but not so boozy that it overwhelms the palate. Nice!

Dark brown color with lasting tan head. Nice coffee, chocolate, medium roast malt aromas. medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Dark coffee flavors with medium roast, semi-sweet chocolate--tasty porter.

Aroma: loaded with coffee, chocolate and some ash, like a strong shot of espresso. Pours jet black, tan head with great retention and tons of lacing. Flavor is roasty, lots of dark roasted coffee and some ash, not a lot of hop bitterness, mellow and smooth. Creamy mouthfeel, medium body, low-medium carbonation. Solid brew.

Sample tray. Unfortunately had ground coffee on top so that very much changed the aroma and to a certain extent the taste (although let other try things at the beginning). On nitro, dark brown with light tan head. Coffee and roasted malts, thin and tasted almost like ice coffee. Well carbonated and a dry clean finish.

On tap at Ladyface. Pours very dark brown with small tan head. Aromas of sweet coffee and roasted malts. Flavor is very coffee forward but not overdone of bitter. Mouthfeel is a little thin but I did not mind. Pretty solid beer.

I had this on tap at Ladyface Alehouse. This is a very coffee forward porter, both in the nose & the flavor. I liked it and it was easy drinking.

A: The pour is a very dark brown color with a nice tan head on it.
S: Plenty of coffee to this one (which would make sense for a coffee porter), along with a nice roast and touch of chocolate underneath.
T: A good coffee flavor along with a good sweetness that you don’t always find in a porter. The chocolate and roast are there and there is also a touch of bitterness.
M: The body is medium with a somewhat low level of carbonation, perhaps from the growler serving.
D: A really nice porter and one of the better beers I’ve had from Ladyface. I wouldn’t mind having a glass of this one again.

A dry dusty porter - tastes like rich smoky malt and roasted coffee. A little on the thin side (which is fine IMO in a porter), with some chewy grain notes. Dark as night with a tan head that lingered on my tasting glass. A very nice execution of this style.

Draught at the restaurant for my birthday. Very coffee-focused porter...which I like. This reminded me very much of RR’s house Porter...once again in a good way. Also some semi-sweet baking chocolate, a touch of hops, and hints of vanilla but dominated by the coffee. Tasty and surprisingly light.
